Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes. All swimming, sauna, paddleboarding and Wild Wellness sessions must be booked online before arrival.

    We are unable to accept walk-ins, especially during busy summer periods.

  • Each person must make their own individual booking.

    This is because every guest needs to complete their own waiver before taking part.

  • For swim and sauna sessions, guests must be 16 years or over.

    Anyone aged 16 or 17 must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Paddleboarding is suitable for guests aged 12 years and over.

    Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, and the adult must be on their own board.

  • Please follow the signs on arrival and park in the correct area for your session.

    For Ruby’s Lake and café sessions, please use the main parking areas. If the parking area by the main gate is busy, continue driving down past the café and park further on.

    For Wild Wellness, please drive past the café and park by the entrance to the Wild Wellness area.

    For the Activity Lake, please follow the signs for Activity Lake parking when you arrive.

  • Yes. The café is open for snacks and drinks whenever swimming sessions are running.

    You are very welcome to enjoy the café before or after your session.

  • Due to limited space and how busy the site is during summer, we do not currently have room for guests to stay and sunbathe after their session.

    You are welcome to relax and enjoy drinks or snacks at the café afterwards.

  • No. We kindly ask that food and drink consumed on site is purchased from our café.

    This helps us keep the site clean, safe and enjoyable for everyone, especially during our busy summer season.

  • Wetsuits and swim hats are not mandatory, although you are welcome to wear them if you prefer. We recommend a swim hat for visibility and extra warmth, especially in cooler conditions.

    Tow floats are mandatory all year round for open water swimming. Please bring your own with you, or they are available to hire or purchase upon arrival.

  • Yes. Our lakeside saunas are available for exclusive hire, subject to availability.

  • No. We do not allow tents on site.

    Our camping area is suitable for motorhomes and campervans only.

  • No. We do not currently offer electric hook-up.

    Our camping is suitable for self-contained motorhomes and campervans.

  • During busy summer periods, we ask that all visitors book online before arriving.

    This helps us manage parking, safety, waivers and the overall guest experience.

  • For swimming, please bring:

    • Tow float, or hire/purchase one upon arrival

    • Swimwear

    • Towel

    • Warm layers for after your swim

    • Wetsuit if you would like one

    • Swim hat if preferred

    For sauna sessions, please also bring a towel to sit on.on

  • Please arrive in good time, follow the signs on site, and park in the correct area for your session. Then check in BEFORE your session.

    For Ruby’s Lake and café sessions, head towards the main lake area.
    For Wild Wellness, drive past the café and park by the Wild Wellness entrance.
    For the Activity Lake, follow the Activity Lake parking signs.
